We spent the weekend in Winter Park, Colorado. Our friends Joe and Coni were nice enough to host us at their condo for the weekend. It was a beautiful getaway. We got up there on Saturday morning. After looking around, we checked into the condo. Then we took Ethan to the local park for some sledding and beginner ski lessons from mom and dad. The next day we were off to the ski hill! Ethan did a great job in ski school. We debated on ski school versus teaching him ourselves. We decided on school because it's the best one in the state and we wanted his first time skiing to be a positive one. We're also not really sure how to teach a 3 year old how to ski. His instructor was great at showing us how to teach him in the future. He enjoyed going up the magic carpet and making his skis into a pizza slice shape. His instructor said that he can move up to the next level! We are so proud of him for trying his best. It was hard work and he slept all the way home.
